Well , I remember most
of those events and people . I've heard the same stories about
Farley and what a scumbag he was, I know about Tanney getting
murdered, and I knew his Father - had he still been alive , no
one would've touched Tommy . He wasn't killed for "stealing
money off the bar " . John Yander dove off a boat at
Canarsie pier and was fatally injured .-All those bars , I too
had frequented , and I knew Pepe and the Reed brothers ,and the
younger crews with Darnell and Higgins Duvall Bo and Skippy ,
[my age ]. I knew of the younger guys -Scott , Murphy ,
Zacharias, Harvey ,Conroy[both bros ] I dated Elaine Lowe [about
5yrs before ]who was murdered .
Anyone who grew up in that neighborhood and hit 18 at around '67
, 68,'69 or '70 would know of all those things . That is if you
hung out then and throughout the 70's and early 80's . I know
the ghosts are about 3-6yrs younger ,from the names they
mentioned. Mr. Ghia must be within 2yrs of me , because some
incidents mentioned would put him at about that age . Few know
the real story about Tanney , or the antics of Farley and his
well deserved and poetic end . Most of those girls mentioned
were jail-bait in my time .Billy Tigar [Teeck], the first drug
casualty of the neighborhood was my freind ,as was his sister
and younger brother .
So if you aint in Jail and got out alive- LOL -you're doing just
fine . |
