I want to thank everyone for their kind words and wishes for us. My husband's heart attack was mild and he's doing very well. My blood counts are beginning to respond to weekly infusion treatments. Hopefully, that means that I won't need a transfusion. Please, if you can, donate blood on a regular basis. It's not very difficult. Until I became ill, I had given over four gallons. And when you do, you get cookies!!!!

Our Madison Yenta, Ellen Grove, has done so much for thousands of us over the years. How let's do something for her and her husband. They're both facing health challenges again. She's back in treatment for her chronic bone marrow deficiency. And he just had a heart attack this week. Let's pray for them. In what other city could you be good friends with  West Indian, Italian, Jewish, African American, and (well, I don't know exactly what Jimmy's background was, except that he was white.[Sorry Jimmy]) Anyway, my time at Madison was a great experience for me. As happens so many times in so many instances, unforseen changes take place and we have to be prepared. Regarding the planned Reunion at the Nevele Hotel, there were a couple of internal eruptions that expanded into significant philosophical and procedural differences between members of the "committee". As a result, Herb and I have decided to separate ourselves from the project. We are sure you understand that we are not happy about these turn of events.   Fortunately for us, and we hope for you too,  the  Las Vegas Reunion enabled us to meet and make a lifetimes worth of new friends and lasting relationships..

  Hello to all Madisonians & "67 classmates.  I am living in Ct.  & would love to hear from any classmates, football teamates & old friends.  BTW does anyine know if Senator Norm Coleman (from Minn) is a Madison grad?  I heard he was.  That would give us 2 senators (Chuck Schumer ia also a '67 grad) and a Supreme Court Justice (Ruth Bader Ginzburg '50).  Not too shabby for one little ole high school!!  Does anyone know who Mark Rosenthal was & what year he graduated?  He is mentioned in the book AMONG THE HEROES as the most likely first vicitim to have died on 9-11 & a school friend of Senator Schumer, but he was not in the class of '67.  Please email me if you know this.  Thanks, Lester Licht

 On June 19th, We had an amazing turnout at Lundys for our 35th reunion. There were so many people that attended from all over the country, including Israel.  The response was overwhelming and it was so hard to say goodbye to some of our friends. I was the chairperson of the reunion and enjoyed working with all the committee members and all others that contributed to this wonderful evening. Many of us exchanged our phone # and are anticipating meeting in the city after the summer.  Those that were hesitant in attending were so happy that they decided to attend.  So all I can say, when your reunion is scheduled, make sure that you attend, as it will be a nite to always remember. I now live in Pennsylvania, have a wife, son, dog, and Crohns disease. Oh, did I mention that I live in the shadows of Three Mile Island?  Am about to go back to school again, at age 54, for my second masters degree. Education has always fascinated me...with my last masters I was able to switch sides of the desk and teach. With this one I see a couch in my future (the degree will be in Social Work. Hi everyone,

looks like we are not letting any grass grow under our feet, so here we go again. The reunion in Las Vegas was such a wonderful success, that so many have said do another soon, so we thought the East Coast would have some interesting places to hold a Multi Year reunion. With that, we asked Richard Grossman class rep of 1954 to join us and scout out some areas for us, and be our East Coast rep. And he in turn consented.  We are planning to hold the reunion in 2006, somewhere between Spring  and Summer time, exactly when not sure right now. If you are interested, and wish updates in the near future, please do the following, and copy both Herb and myself with your replies. Full name, and Maiden if applicable. Home address, telephone number and if spouse is a graduate, name and year also. And of course, most important your current e-mail address. If, in the course of the years your e-mail is changed, please be sure to notify us, we don’t want you to miss out on any updates. We do have an extremely large bulk e-mail list at present from the Vegas reunion, that we are maintaining, but we are starting another, as many have moved and also changed e-mail addresses. We look forward to hearing from you, seeing you again and meet those who did not make the Vegas reunion.

Hi everyone, Well the big one in Vegas took off like a rocket, what a weekend we had, From Wednesday to Sunday all were having a ball. The hospitality room for the two days Wednesday and Thursday was great, we met, ate and had some good memories to converse about, The cocktail party was a huge sucess as was the dinner dance with some absolutley wonderful entertainment,great food and friends galore. The attendees bonded so completly, as someone wrote me today, it was like a close family reunion. My DJ was the best, he carried the night to perfection. The entertainment was super. Everyone wanted the events to go on and on. wish it had myself. Herb and I want to thank all that attended and the letters this week comending us is just so very gratifying you cannot imagine. Someone told me that this was a thankless job, but may I say they were wrong, There were many thank you's, over 200. And to see the smiling faces and hear all the laughter and singing and dancing was music to my ears. Thank you to all that attended, we hope to see you again at the next one. My best to all
